Big thanks to the Manticore team—you've done brilliant work in the full-text index space.

I have been using Sphinx for decades, and now Manticore is the perfect replacement.

But I just realized the current version is v27, and only six months ago I was on v15. That’s some aggressive versioning!

Fair. We spent months optimizing query execution and approximately 1 minute optimizing the hero image. Clearly the latter made the bigger impression :)

Their stupid ai chat bubble keeps popping up messages too

I use Typesense and am happy. This site def makes me not want to use Manticore at all. Docs should be prominent, not all the "better perf" and comparisons
